As founder and CEO of Whyzened, Christa Sturgis brings over 20 years of experience in organizational development and learning and development. Christa specializes in quickly putting structure around developing managers and speeding up the time between an organization wanting leadership training and bringing it in. She has a particular focus on global audiences and diverse learners, ensuring that learning programs are accessible and effective for everyone.

Christa holds a Master’s in Leadership and Organizational Development from Bastyr University. Her systemic approach focuses on solving the root problem to maximize long term solutions. She works on improving the way people work individually and collectively to more successfully accomplish department, company and personal goals.

Simon Read leads sales and operations for Whyzened. He has over 15 years experience leading and building sales structures in small organizations. His operations management skills drive innovative solutions to increase productivity and enhance client satisfaction. Prior to Whyzened, he has worked in the healthcare, IT and life sciences industries.

Simon earned his BA in Economics from Western Washington University. He is involved with multiple charities in the Bay Area including: the Sharks Foundation, Saved by Nature and Open Insulin. He spends his free time with his family and outside running 5Ks and has even taken on a 7K running through San Francisco for the Bay to Breakers. He also enjoys exploring the outdoors in California and the Pacific Northwest by hiking, rock climbing and golfing.
